First Two Siberian Husky Titles to be Recognized by AKC – CH Highlander’s Go for Broke, SDX & Highlander’s Morris Guidinov, SDX

by Brian & Anne Palmer

It is a great honor to be recognized by the American Kennel Club and the Siberian Husky Club of America as having working Siberian Huskies. We are thrilled that the Siberian Husky Club of America’s recognized Sled Dog Titles are now being recorded by the AKC Performance Events Department.

Sled Dog Titles are reflective of the dog’s capability of working in harness.

When working with the dogs, you come to cherish and appreciate their willingness to please and learn what they are capable of giving. The emotions you and the dogs develop together during a race is thrilling.

We participate in races and in dog show conformation. Some of the dogs that have made up our teams are as follows:

  • CH Highlander's Go For Broke, SDX – 2007 SHCA National Specialty Best of Breed, 2009 AOM
  • CH Highlander's Turn The Beat Around, SD – Best Sled Dog 2007 SHCA National Specialty
  • CH Highlander’s Yosemite Sam, SD – RWD 2005 SHCA National Specialty
  • CH Highlander's Austin Powers, SD – 2005 & 2009 SHCA National Specialty AOM
  • CH Highlander's Wildflower, SD – Winners Bitch and Best BBE 2005 SHCA National Specialty
  • Highlander's Morris Gudinov, SDX

We enjoy all aspects of the Siberian Husky and are proud to be the owners of some fine dogs. We are excited as members of the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit to be promoting the sport of purebred dog sled racing.

Sincerely,
Brian & Anne Palmer
