Mrs. Keke Kahn
KeKe Kahn, of Sarasota, Florida, began her career as a breeder in 1960, when, she says, "I fell in love with the Lhasa Apso." Since then, she has bred 58 AKC champion Lhasas, including six all-breed BIS dogs and many group winners. Her famous bitch Ch. Potala Keke’s Yum won back-to-back national specialties.
Mrs. Khan is an all-breed judge who cites group assignments at Westminster and AKC/Eukanuba, as well as top shows in Europe, Australia, and South America, as highlights of her judging career. A member of the American Lhasa Apso Club for most of its 50-year existence, Mrs. Khan has served the organization as president and AKC Delegate. She has judged all over the world and "enjoyed every bit of it."
