2003 World Agility Championships
September 26-28, 2003 - Lievin, France
2003 World Team Practice - August 19, 2003

The 2003 AKC/USA Agility World Team ran fast and clean this past weekend at the one and only practice they will have before leaving for France to represent the United States. Dan Dege coached the small dog team with a 14" jump height, the medium dog team with an 18" jump height, and the large dog team with a 26" jump height in preparation for the World Agility Championships to be held in Lieven, France, September 26th-28th, 2003.

The practice started with California Sports Physiologist Sarah Johnson, who showed the handlers the proper way to stretch to prevent injury while running their fastest. She also demonstrated to the team the proper way for their dogs to be stretched and prepared to run in the trial. The competitors had a chance to get to know each other better and learn to work as a team.

The AKC is very proud of the tremendous teams chosen to represent the USA in France. Once again, we hope to bring home gold!
